A training and grading seminar was held at the club on Sunday 22 May 2016 with Dermot O’ Keefe Sensei, Chief instructor for JKS Ireland. The day was a great success and all students trained very hard and performed superbly during their grading examinations. You have all worked very hard these past few months and you deserve the excellent results that you all received. A huge thanks to Dermot Sensei for making the day so positive for all involved. Also special thanks to Bobby Sensei for travelling up from Cork to support us on the day. Well done to you all, now roll on the summer!
A massive congratulations to Claire O’ Brien and Georgia English who successfully graded with Kagawa Shihan at the JKS dan grading in Dublin last Sunday(06 March 2016). Claire and Georgia have worked extremely hard for the past five years and now all that hard work is coming to fruition. They both put on a superb performance on the day and did both themselves and the club proud. Fair play lads.
We are delighted to announce that the club has been accepted into Japan Karate Shotorenmei(JKS). The JKS is one of the worlds most pre-eminent Shotokan Karate organisations.
